Luke was an orphan who lived his life out in a monastery. As such he maintained a life of simple pleasures, dictated by virtues and morals. At one point he was forced to become a warrior, however, to protect those he loved most, causing him to become one like the Angels, a bringer of light. This gained him the name of Seraphim, and later shortened by friends and loved ones to Sera.
In the passage of time, he spent much of his time going about the business of trying to learn all that he could, but this became a curse nearly at once.
One day as he roamed the area around the Monastery he had grown up in, he came across an unusual black box. Mistaking it for something one of the priests had dropped, he took it into the monastery and left for one of the priests to examine it and take it to their proper master. A fatal mistake that destroyed the monastery where it had stood for hundreds of years.
Frightened, Luke went to search for survivors, only to find the Star of Hades. Without his knowledge the soul of Hades was passed onto him by Pandora, and sealed with the despair of chaos itself. Normally this would have meant a full blown possession of Hades, but Luke was stronger, and instead became Hades himself, the New Hades, a mere reincarnation. And as such he began to grow mad with knowledge, troubled by the sins and problems of the world, the want to bring order, and the need to bring salvation to the dead. A sudden impulse to want to destroy all of life, in order to save it.
But, he didn't want to become that person. So he suppressed it and fought it, until it became a mere echo in the back of his mind. Locked, for the time being. He learned the ways of his Past reincarnations, became powerful and Just. As one of the only reincarnations of the God's, he can travel freely from all three realms without need of sacrifice or permission.
